Greg and Glen Thompson ran and smashed their £1,000 fundraising target for the Bromley-based Freddie Farmer Foundation in last Sunday’s London Marathon raising an incredible £1,512.

“It was an amazing experience and to have Freddie Farmer Foundation as our chosen charity inspired us to finish and raise as much money as possible”, said Greg. “It was a great day and the crowds were simply amazing, they push you right through to the finish.”

Co-runner Glen said: “We ran an excellent first half and running together made it an awesome experience with the crowd willing us on.

“We’ve been to the new Freddie Farmer Foundation physiotherapy centre and we know how much the funds we raise will help the charity, it gave us that extra drive.”
