Fundraiser extraordinaire

The family and friends of an 11-year-old girl held a charity night to raise money for the Freddie Farmer Foundation.

Georgia Strudwick, from Purley, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome and her mum Lisa organised the event to raise money for the Freddie Farmer Foundation and Reverse Rett.

The event was held at Frames sports bar in Brighton Road, Coulsdon on May 6 with live music from band Randy and the Rockets.

The event raised £3300 for the Freddie Farmer Foundation.

Earlier this month Lisa held a coffee morning and cake sale at Queens Park Pavilion, Caterham, which raised a further £900.
