A Charity Boxing event held by the London Military Boxing Club has raised £1200 for the Freddie Farmer Foundation in Bromley.

The event, held at Grove Park TA Centre on Baring Road, contained a number of junior and senior bouts including the debut of Freddie Farmer’s cousin, Harry Catchesides!

A cheque was presented to Freddie’s uncle, Dan Catchesides, by the commanding officer 106 Regiment Royal Artillery Lt Col Tim Pennett at the regimental Carol Service held at Baring Road on December 6.

The money will go towards buying specialist equipment to help boost strength and mobility for disabled children with cerebral palsy and mobility problems.
