Cycle the brave

Well done to the eight men and women who took part in the Freddie Farmer Sa Colobra Cycle Challenge over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, it was seven consecutive days of cycling over some pretty tough terrain.

The hairpins, loops, hills and mountains of Mallorca were testing but everyone completed the feat to raise over £10,000 for the Freddie Farmer Foundation.

“I feel proud and tired,” said organiser Dean Keable. “For a small group of people, we had a lot of fun. Everyone worked so hard for every penny that had been donated and I’m very proud to have been part of such a great bunch of people giving their time, money and effort for such a great cause.”

All the cyclists paid their own expenses with support from Image Link who sponsored the shirts, and SPM Print who sponsored the van, which means every penny raised goes direct to the Freddie Farmer Foundation charity. To donate visit: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Spurs-Sue
